WHAT’S THE MORAL TO YOUR STORY??
ASAP Fables are all brand new! But, what good is a new fable, if it’s got the same old moral? When was the last time you saw a Tortoise racing a Hare down Sunset Boulevard? Every new fable needs a new moral - AND THAT’S WHERE YOU COME IN!

We want you to submit the modern moral that you’d like to see! The five we feel are the most original and exciting will be assigned to the ASAP Teams as the basis of their fables!

 A.S.A.P. Fables



Experience five original and absurdly impossible new stories certain to be fun and fantastic.

As part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival, Moving Arts will be presenting their new, site-specific creation, “ASAP Fables” on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 5 PM, around the grounds of the legendary Hollywood United Methodist Church (HUMC) located at Highland and Franklin Avenues. This family-friendly event will feature the performance of five, absurdly impossible and original fables, all of which were created... as soon as possible.

Two days prior to the show, teams of actors, writers and directors will receive a handful of instructions and a Modern Moral, submitted in advance via the web. With no money and only 48 hours, each team must overcome merciless production challenges and bring to life a new and original fable for your enjoyment. As an Audience Member, you will be guided through the grounds of HUMC, as these tales are performed for your pleasure. At the end, you will be able to vote on your favorite and determine which team of Fabulists are most Fabulous.
