Gabrieal Griego is a writer, producer and director of theater and film. For her very last pre ‘Hanks/Wilson’ project she had the pleasure of working with David Mamet on a workshop production of his new play The Christopher Boy’s Communion. Her very first post ‘Hanks/Wilson’ production was with Padua Playwrights, producing  and designing her first digital live show Blackouts by Murray Mednick. She went on to direct her first online play Aren’t You Clever for Playground SanFrancisco, and then produced Dr. Guy Zimmerman’s Airlock-24, a psilocybin thriller created for an online experience. Currently she is producing, editing and live stream manager for Isolation Inn currently running. Gabrieal is also a sound designer, projections designer, puppeteer, and musician. Gabrieal is excited to bring these skills to Moving Arts. Gabrieal is pleased to have also worked on multiple award winning and nominated productions with the following theatre luminaries and theatre companies: David Mamet, Gates McFadden @ Ensemble Studio Theatre Los Angeles, Padua Playwrights, The MET Theatre, The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles, Greenway Court Theater, Open Fist Theatre Company, 2Cents Theatre Group, Arena Stage Theatre, Athena Theatre Company, Autumn Jump Productions, Broadwater,  DOMA Theatre Company, Fierce Backbone, Triumvirate Pi Theatre Company, Juber Productions, and last, but certainly not least, Senior Star Power Productions. Gabrieal’s productions have received multiple awards and nominations which include The Ovation, LA Drama Critics Circle, LA Times, LA Weekly, Stage Raw, Broadway World, Garland, Hollywood Fringe Producer’s ENCORE!, Tveloution, Better Lemons, KCRW, Ticket Holder, SAGE, Eddon, ADA, and the beloved StageScene LA (aka The Scenie) Gabrieal is honored to be part of the amazing team at Moving Arts in the quest to deliver top-notch programs, online content (and when it’s safe to do so, live theatre productions) created by and with diverse Los Angeles artists to provide compelling stories to our diverse Los Angeles audiences.
