Ms. Noble is a classically trained, award-winning actor, writer, solo-performer and director with over thirty years of professional experience in the theatre and on-camera. Her career began back in Chicago, coming straight out of Northwestern University’s prestigious theatre school, and has exploded since she made the move to Los Angeles over twenty years ago. She began teaching acting and writing back in Chicago, and carried her experience over to the West Coast. Here, she has taught for Anteaus Theatre, L.A.’s LGBT Center, L.A.’s Museum of the Holocaust, the Museum of Tolerance, Homeboy Industries, Hussian College—L.A./In-Studio, Berg Studios, and Warriors For Peace Theatre. She is on the roster as Adjunct Faculty for AMDA and is also a private coach for numerous actors in L.A. and across the world.
She is a proud ensemble member of Antaeus, Echo Theatre, Rogue Machine Theatre, Warriors For Peace, ITC of Chicago, and, of course, Moving Arts. She is also a member of SAG/AFTRA and Equity, as well as the Dramatists’ Guild of America.
In addition to her extensive Chicago acting credits, here in Southern California, she has worked with: A Noise Within, South Coast Rep, ETC of Santa Barbara, L.A.’s LGBT Center, Antaeus, Rogue Machine, Echo, Malibu Playhouse, The Road, Sierra Madre Playhouse, Boston Court, Theatre Neo, The Victory, Son of Semele, Theatre Ghosts, and Moving Arts. She has also performed at Edinburgh Fringe, Sydney Fringe and Capitol Fringe.
Her plays have been produced and workshopped all over the world: Chicago Area (Victory Gardens, ITC, Citadel, The Next, First Folio, Peninsula Players); New York (Abingdon); L.A. (The Road, InterAct, Coeurage, Rogue Machine, Echo, Boston Court, Antaeus, Moving Arts, The Blank); Ashland (Oregon Shakes Fest); Internationally (WAAPA of Australia, National Theatre of Subotica, Serbia); and at various other small U.S. theatres as well as universities/colleges & high schools. Her awards are extensive and span the globe.
As a director, she has worked with/for: Antaeus, Echo, Warriors For Peace, Holocaust Museum LA, Museum of Tolerance, Son of Semele, Santa Monica Playhouse, L.A.’s LGBT Center, LifeChild Prods, Two Heads Are Better Prods and Theatre Ghosts.
Ms. Noble is also a jail chaplain, and serves the incarcerated women and men in the L.A. County Jails; she is currently the program coordinator for Prism Restorative Justice with the Center For Lay Chaplaincy for the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles.
