Moving Arts MADlab 2019 Playwright

Marlow Wyatt is a Kansas City native, and a magna cum laude graduate of Howard University’s Theater Arts Department.  She is an actor and playwright.  Selected works  include: Say Something (2018 AWOT Festival), American Dreamers (2018 Benefit) Sweetie’s Confession (2017 NESONA Playwrights Festival, 2016 Fade to Black Festival), SHE (2018 Howard Players/Theatre Alliance, 2016 Long Beach Playhouse), Our Music, Our Spirit, Our Gospel (Los Angeles, San Francisco Gospel Tour) and The Village (Girl Blue Project). She is a 2018 Many Voices Fellowship finalist, the first playwright to have two works presented in the “A List” Reader’s Series at the 2017 National Black Theatre Festival, a 2016 HUMANITAS/CTG Playwrights Prize finalist and winner of the 2016 Long Beach Playhouse New Works Festival. Other honors include:  two time recipient of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Discretionary Grant, Women In Theatre Red Carpet Award, Pine-Sol/Ebony Magazine Powerful Difference Award and the first Spirited Woman Grant recipient. Marlow is also a new member of Antaeus Theatre Company Playwrights Lab.
