Michael David

Michael David is a playwright with 17 full-length plays, more than 300 stage productions, and an unusually broad résumé that includes writing, directing, acting, designing and producing. He is a recipient of the Max K. Lerner Playwriting Fellowship, and his work has been produced throughout California, from Los Angeles to San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Cruz and San Diego. Michael is an original company member of Paul Stein’s THE CAR PLAYS and has written nine 10-minute plays for the project. He belongs to the Dramatists Guild, Theatre Communications Group, and the American Dialect Society. Michael is also the voice of Dolli Dimples at Chuck E. Cheese’s. MichaelDavidPlays.com

We are offering a small theatre gem in the heart of Atwater Village. It’s very clean, with 45 fixed theatre seats all with ample legroom, high ceilings at 11 feet, a stage that is 19′ feet deep and 19 feet across. We have a dressing room with three dressing stations plus more room for changing costumes, props, and costume storage. We have a small lobby entry into the actual theatre. Our theatre sits right next to a large parking lot with 75 spaces. Our entrance is covered which allows for outside gathering before or after a performance or meeting. We have a full lighting package with a programmable light board. The sound system is basic with two very loud speakers that more than fill the acoustically rich space.
