Victoria Stewart’s plays include Rich Girl (Florida Studio Theater, The Old Globe, George Street Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse), The Meaning Of Maggie (Rose Theater), Mercy Watson To The Rescue! (Children’s Theatre Company), Hardball (Live Girls Theatre!, SPF), Fissures (Lost And Found) (Actors Theater of Louisville), Live Girls (Urban Stages, WHAT), 800 Words: The Transmigration Of Philip K. Dick (Workhaus Collective), The Last Scene and an adaptation of Henry James’ The Bostonians. Recently, she finished a pilot for YouTube Red co-written with YouTube star Devin Supertramp and is developing several other TV/film projects. Her collaborative bilingual music theater piece about immigration, Clandestino, was developed at the Sundance MassMOCA lab and had a workshop at New York Theater Workshop. She has received the Jerome Fellowship, the McKnight and the Francesca Primus Award. She was a founding member of the Workhaus Collective and is an Affiliated Writer with the Playwrights’ Center and a member of WGA West and the Playwrights Union of Los Angeles.
