Moving Arts marks the fourth cycle of our Moving Arts Development Lab (MADlab) in 2017. We are excited to report that we received more applications from Los Angeles playwrights this year than ever before, with an impressive level of artistic quality overall. We are proud to announce the 2017 MADlab writers: Nayna Agrawal, Makeda Declet, Chloé Hung and Jennie Webb (bios below).
They will be working with dramaturgs, directors and actors as they craft brand-new plays over the next nine months, culminating in the First Look Reading Series in October, 2017. We look forward to working with these talented artists!
